舘長からのご挨拶 (Message from Sensei Kazunobu Tsubamoto)
恩師である、日本剛柔流空手道(比嘉系剛柔流)四代目宗家 市川素水先生より
日本剛柔流空手道の奥伝及び、日本交手道宗家の襲名を頂きました。
日本交手道とは、恩師市川素水先生が、代々継承された剛柔流空手道に、
生涯を懸け更に工夫研鑽を成した技の奥義であります。
現在私は、恩師市川素水先生から継承した希覯の伝統武道を研鑽すべく、
日々稽古を行っております。

・１９６７年 ４月 素水館入門
・１９８５年 ８月 武備誌相伝(剛柔流空手道伝承者の証)
・１９９１年 １月 日本剛柔流士鍔舘創設
・２００４年 １月 範士九段授与
（市川素水先生は生涯において範士九段を
千葉先生・須藤先生・鍔本の三名に授与）
・２０００～２００５年 ３月迄 日本剛柔流空手道及び日本交手道を奥伝
（恩師、市川素水先生３月７日８１歳にて永眠）
・２００５年 ２月 ２０日 日本交手道宗家十段襲名
・２００５年 ５月 市川派剛柔流空手道素水会発足
武備誌の継承
－ 比嘉系剛柔流空手道の文化
剛柔流空手道の伝承者として、市川素水先生60歳の昭和60年8月17日、
沖縄伝武備誌に手形・印を押し、鍔本和伸へ授与。
※武備誌には、手形が非常に重要である。
東恩納寛量先生 → 比嘉世幸先生 → 泉川寛喜先生
→ 市川素水先生 → 鍔本和伸
・沖縄伝武備誌とは、東恩納寛量先生から高弟二名（宮城先生・比嘉先生）へ伝承。
・宮城長順先生は、第二次世界大戦における沖縄戦の戦火にて消失とのこと。
・比嘉世幸先生により、唐手武術を正しく継承させる為、授与者に写本させ、
秘伝書として手形を押して伝承者の証とし残した。
・比嘉世幸先生より、泉川寛喜先生→市川素水先生→鍔本和伸と伝承。
武備誌の伝承は、比嘉系剛柔流空手道のみで行われており、空手道文化として
継承されている。
Message from Sensei Kazunobu Tsubamoto
The late Grandmaster Sosui Ichikawa devoted his entire life to further
developing and polishing the Goju-Ryu karate-do of the Miyagi – Higa lineage,
and as a result, he created *Nihon Koshu-do, the esoteric
and highest level skill of Goju-Ryu Karate-do.
I was initiated into the highest levels of Nihon Goju-Ryu Karate-do
and Nihon Koshu-do by Grandmaster Ichikawa, who appointed me
SOKE (successor) of Nihon Koshu-do shortly before his passing in 2005.
Grandmaster Ichikawa was the 4th generation (SOKE) of Nihon Goju-Ryu karate-do,
which he inherited from the Miyagi – Higa lineage.
I now work diligently to further develop and refine this authentic
and highest level budo which Grandmaster Ichikawa entrusted to me.
Kazunobu Tsubamoto, Kancho of Shigaku-Kan
Sensei Kazunobu Tsubamoto – Major Dates and Developments
April 1967 Began training at Sosui-kan(the dojo of Grandmaster Sosui Ichikawa).
August 1985 Sensei Tsubamoto was bestowed with the Bubishi
which has been passed down from Master to Disciple for generations
as proof of succession in Goju-Ryu Karate-do.
January 1991 Sensei Tsubamoto founded Shigaku-Kan.
January 2004 Grandmaster Ichikawa awarded 9th Dan (Kudan) to Sensei Tsubamoto.
2000 to March 2005 Sensei Tsubamoto was initiated into the esoteric levels
of Nihon Goju-Ryu Karate-do and Nihon Koshu-do
by Grandmaster Ichikawa.
On 20th February 2005, appointed SOKE (successor) of Nihon Koshu-do
by Grandmaster Ichikawa.
Grandmaster Ichikawa passed away on 7th March, 2005, aged 81 years.
May 2005 Sensei Tsubamoto founded Ichikawa-ha Goju-Ryu Karate-do Sosui-Kai.
* Nihon Koshu-do, was created and named by Grandmaster Sosui Ichikawa.
It is the name of his art. It is a development of Goju-Ryu
beyond the Miyagi – Higa lineage,
and includes Grandmaster Ichikawa’s own research, development and teachings.
The succession of Bubishi
- This is the culture of the Goju-Ryu Karate-do of the Higa lineage.
On 17th August 1985, at age 60 years, Grand Master Sosui Ichikawa bestowed
the Bubishi on Sensei Kazunobu Tsubamoto, with his hand print, and by
affixing his seal.
This is the proof of succession of Goju-ryu karate-do.
(※The master’s hand print is most important in Bubishi.)
・Bubishi which is tradition of Okinawa was passed down from Sensei
(Patriarch) Kanryo Higashionna to his top two disciplines: Sensei Chojun
Miyagi and Sensei Seko Higa.
・Sensei Chojun Miyagi said his Bubishi was burnt during the War in Okinawa.
・From Sensei Seko Higa, Bubishi was meant, with the master’s hand print, as
the proof of the succession.
Sensei Seko Higa had his disciples who were bestowed Bubishi make personal
hand written copies of the manuscript, Bubishi is the textbook of secrets
for correct and proper succession of Karate Bujutsu.
・From Sensei Seko Higa, Bubishi passed down to Sensei Kanki Izumikawa,
Grand Master Sosui Ichikawa, then to Sensei Kazunobu Tsubamoto.
The concept of succession of Bubishi is only alive on the Higa lineage of
Goju-Ryu Karate-do, and Bubishi has been passed down as the culture of
Karate-do.
